A small civil rights victory. From Capital Hill Blue:
The Arkansas state House voted 70 to 11 to allow colleges and universities to decide themselves whether to allow concealed weapons on their campuses, advancing the bill to the state Senate, which is expected to approve the bill.
The Governor has indicated he will sign the measure.
Needless to say, if some schools don’t want to avail themselves of the extra-protection an armed faculty member might provide, they can remain a “gun free zone” and risk the consequences.
